What is considered a young professional?

We consider young professionals to be those between the ages of 21 and 40 who are looking to launch or develop their careers. This includes college students, those who are established in career, who are looking to re-enter the workforce soon, and those who are looking to make a career or industry change.

Are events open to all ages?

The DevLab Series and the Bend YP Summit are open to anyone who feels that they would benefit from the programming which includes those of all ages including those under the age of 21.

The YP Socials are only for those aged 21 - 40.

How do I become a member?

While it is currently in the works, Bend YP does not currently have a membership plan. In order to be a part of Bend YP, just sign up for one of our events!

In your are employed with a Bend Chamber Member, you will receive member pricing on Bend YP events, but Bend Chamber membership is not required to participate fully with Bend YP!

How do I get more involved with Bend YP?

In addition to attending events, the Bend YP Advisory Committee has a number of active committees who strategically plan and execute all of our programs and events. If you are interested in volunteering for a Bend YP committee or at one of our events, please reach out and we will get you plugged in!

How can my organization support the program?

In addition to hosting monthly Socials or sponsoring the DevLabs or the YP Summit, you can always encourage young professionals in your employ to get involved with Bend YP to develop personally, professional and civically!
