2024 YP Summit: Emerge

A Message From Our Keynote Speaker, Pamela Barnum!

7th Annual Bend YP Summit: Emerge

Join us on May 3 in downtown Bend for inspiration and networking at the 7th Annual YP Summit!  Meet and connect with other young professionals and local leaders. Your day will begin at the Tower Theatre with our keynote, Pamela Barnum. Pamela spent over twenty years working in the criminal justice system, first as an undercover police officer and later as a prosecuting attorney. In her presentation Tactical Influence: The Power of Trust, Pamela will share how influence is an essential element of leadership. You can implement tactical influence to increase confidence, resilience, and trust, especially in the face of challenges. Learn how to close the gap between intentions and impact, resulting in improved outcomes critical to success. Using undercover police techniques backed by research, you’ll discover the art of persuasion vital to long-term success.

You will learn how to:

  • Leverage intentional communication cues for increased collaboration and improved negotiations. Learn the number one undercover technique that makes you five times as likely to close a deal even when all seems lost.

  • Design a culture of trust to increase productivity, creativity, and happiness within the organization without spending more time or money.

  • Communicate confidently and maintain a strong executive presence in times of uncertainty. Use fear and doubt to supercharge insight and eliminate imposter syndrome.
